Multi-Country
The Multi-Country page (/) is the default landing page. It shows a cross-market view of electricity prices, news, and forecast overlays for all four supported markets — Spain (ES), Portugal (PT), France (FR), and Germany (DE) — simultaneously.
Use this page to compare price levels across markets, spot regional divergences, and get a pan-European news view. Switch to the Market Price page for the single-country deep-dive.
Period and forecast controls
Two controls at the top apply globally:

The MonthYearPicker becomes available at MONTH and YEAR periods, letting you navigate to historical windows.
Europe Map
An interactive SVG map of Europe with per-country price indicators.
Each country tile shows:
- Latest settlement price — most recent available day-ahead hourly price in EUR/MWh
- Price sparkline — 7-day trend at a glance
Clicking a country on the map navigates to that country’s Market Price page.
On mobile, tapping a country reveals a bottom sheet with price details and a “Go to Market Price” link rather than navigating immediately.
Multi-Country Price Chart
An overlaid line chart showing day-ahead settlement prices (and optionally EPF forecasts) for all four countries on a shared y-axis and x-axis.
Each country has its own color:
- ES — Spain
- PT — Portugal
- FR — France
- DE — Germany
The chart splits at “Now”: to the left are actuals; to the right is the EPF forecast (if the forecast range toggle is on). The visual split uses lighter opacity for the forecast region.
This chart is most useful for:
- Spotting price divergences between Iberian markets (ES/PT are tightly coupled via MIBEL) and Central European markets (FR/DE coupled via EPEX SPOT)
- Identifying when a country is leading or lagging a price move driven by a shared commodity event (e.g. a TTF gas spike hits DE first, ES a day later)
Multi-Country News Section
A combined news feed showing recent articles across all four markets plus global supply-shock stories. The same article can surface for multiple countries if it is relevant to more than one market.
Use the country multi-select chips to narrow the feed to specific markets. The GLOBAL category covers cross-border events (LNG supply, TTF pricing, ETS policy) that affect all four markets.

Navigating to single-country detail
From the Multi-Country page, there are three ways to dive into a specific country:
- Click the country on the Europe Map — routes to
/market-pricewith that country pre-selected - Use the country selector in the sidebar — switches the active country across all pages
- Click “Market Price” in the sidebar navigation — opens the single-country detailed view for the currently selected country
